Welcome to Arjun's Kitchen!

Hello from the Bismack household! Here, there is oftentimes a lot going on in the kitchen, not because of cooking by Mama (Sunali) but in fact because of cooking by Dada (Gregory). Dada considered culinary school when he was in his early 20s, but pursued a career in medicine instead. However, his passion for culinary arts never left him.

Our 4-year-old son, Arjun, thinks the world of his dearest Dada and is always trying to follow in his footsteps. He loves helping out in the kitchen. Mama has never been especially proficient in the kitchen, but we all decided it is time to change that.

Arjun and I have decided to learn the ABCs of cooking together. We plan to document this journey and share it with our friends, family and any other curious onlookers. Our 1-year-old Anoushka may join in on the fun on occasion as well.

The part where I admit I am not that proficient in the kitchen is a plus. It means that everything we are cooking is accessible to all. However, that doesn’t mean everything will be boring. Some of our concoctions will be very creative, others will be pretty basic. Most of our recipes will be created by the culinary expert in our household, Dada.

We hope to use our episodes to teach some basic cooking concepts that we learn as we go. It would be a lot of fun to share a little bit of knowledge on science, math, history and any other fun tidbits that come up with our recipes too. As I am sure you can imagine, Arjun is going to be over the moon about seeing himself on YouTube TV regularly through this entire process. All good things!
